The Canada China Forum is pleased to welcome Laurent De Serres Bérard (Co-Programming Director), Paulina Chan (Co-Progamming Director) and Katia Houle (Special Representative to Mainland China) to the Secretariat Team.
Paulina and Laurent will lead the planning, development, and organization of CCF events moving forward, while Katia will work to build connections and expand the Forum’s presence in China.
All three individuals bring unique perspectives and diverse experiences to the Forum. This expansion of the Secretariat Team is an important step for the Forum as we expand and move towards our goal of becoming a representative slice of emerging Canadian leaders. These individuals are dedicated to deepening their understanding of China and the Canada-China bilateral relationship in service of Canada’s national interest.

In addition, we’d also like to thank our previous Co-Programming Directors, Ian Stone and Julian Snelling, and our previous Special Representative, David Perez-Des Rosiers, for their leadership and vision in shaping the Forum’s events, initiatives, and operations in China. Ian will continue to support and transition our incoming co-programming directors, and will soon be shifting into a new role in the Forum that seeks to build a community of young professionals within the private sector who are engaged on China-related files/ issues.
