He previously served as the head of the Canada China Business Council’s China operations in Beijing, a founding partner of the Canada China Forum. With over 15 years of experience engaging and working with China, this event will offer a unique opportunity to hear about Noah’s journey in navigating China’s political, economic and social changes, gaining insights into his experience leading the CCBC in Beijing and his outlook on China-US relations in his new role at the US China Business Council.

Noah Fraser 

Noah has over 15 years of progressive international career growth across multiple industries, including government & corporate affairs, marketing & communications, manufacturing, education, and life sciences. His depth of experience includes the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and he is professionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese and French. He has spent over 10 years working and studying in China and Hong Kong.

He is currently Senior Vice President of China Operations for the US-China Business Council, based in Beijing. Founded in 1973, the US-China Business Council (USCBC) is a private, nonpartisan, non-profit association of more than 270 American companies that do business with China. The membership includes some of the largest and most iconic American brands, in addition to professional services firms and small- and medium-sized enterprises.

Noah previously served as the Managing Director & Chief China Representative at the Canada China Business Council, the de-facto chamber of commerce between Canada and China, with over 40 years of history and 300 corporate members across both markets. In the private sector, he most recently acted as the Director of Marketing & Business Development at Rapid Aid Corp., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of temperature-therapy medical devices. In close collaboration with the CEO, he oversaw all global marketing, sales & communications activities, and drove international strategy, with a focus on Greater China, the EU, and the United States.

Noah holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Development & Globalization and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, partially completed at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a certificate in Mandarin Chinese from Nanjing Normal University. He is currently completing a Masters of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law and Practice at the University of Edinburgh. Noah is also an active volunteer, serving on the Advisory Board of the Canada China Forum and as a mentor with the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy.
