Jon is a senior finance student and advocate for leadership that meets the challenges of the 21^st century. As a candidate for the Leadership Certificate and Certificate in International Learning at the University of Alberta, Jon attended the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University on exchange, where he identified a strong need for cross-cultural competence in leaders operating businesses across China and western countries.

While working for the Hainan International Chamber of Commerce, Jon co-founded and advised the Equity Research and Investment Society in Beijing. Upon returning to Canada, Jon led the Strategic Management and Organization Club as a co-president. Most recently, Jon was a quant on his university’s International Business team at the 2021 JDC West competition and an analyst in Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets division.
