Darren Touch
Passionate about driving inclusive change through public policy, Darren Touch brings experience in strategy, policy and project management from working in the public, private and non-governmental sectors in Canada and abroad (Cambodia and China).
Darren Touch is a Schwarzman Fellow with the Kissinger Institute and Canada Institute at the Wilson Center in Washington D.C., and a Policy Lead at the Public Policy Forum in Ottawa.
He has also held positions in the Government of Canada (Natural Resources Canada, Global Affairs Canada, Public Services and Procurement Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada), TD Bank Financial Group, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, and the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Centre for Inclusive Digital Economy at the Asian Vision Institute in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Darren is a Schwarzman Scholar with a Master of Management Science in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor’s of Social Science in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Ottawa, which he attended as a TD Scholar for Community Leadership.
Darren was formerly a Junior Policy Associate at PPF and rejoined as a Policy Lead in April 2020.
