The Canada China Forum is hosting an in-person Membership Roundtable in Ottawa on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM (EST), convening our network of leaders, practitioners, and experts to engage in candid and collaborative dialogue on the evolving Canada–China relationship. Hosted by our Advisory Board Member Hon. Senator Yuen Pau Woo, the roundtable will take place in the Senate.
This roundtable will be a member-driven conversation, guided by the expertise and lived experience of participants. With Canada–China relations entering a transition, the discussion will provide space to reflect on current challenges, identify areas of opportunity, and exchange perspectives on how Canada can best position itself in navigating this important bilateral relationship. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Canada and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
